I’m a child photographer serving Killarney, Co. Kerry and surrounding towns. Child photography is all about capturing your child as they truly are. Their personality, their energy, and the little details that make them unique.
Unlike family sessions, these sessions are more relaxed and child-led. There’s less posing and more natural movement, allowing your child the freedom to explore, play, and be themselves.
Every child is different. Some are full of energy and curiosity, others are calm and observant. Both are equally beautiful, and both deserve to be documented in a way that feels real and honest.
These moments don’t last as long as we think. The way they smile, the way they look at you, the way they experience the world quietly changes over time. Professional child photography helps preserve this stage, so you can always look back and remember not just how they looked, but who they were. Childhood photography is perfect for:

What to expect
Your child’s photography session takes place outdoors in a relaxed, natural setting, allowing your child the space to move, explore, and be themselves. Or if you prefer, in the comfort of your home. There’s no need to worry about perfect behaviour or preparing too much. These sessions are child-led, following their energy and personality… whether that’s playful, curious, or a little quieter.
Rather than posed setups, I focus on natural child photography, capturing real expressions, movement, and those small in-between moments that reflect who they truly are at this stage. Sessions are around 30 minutes, keeping things easy and enjoyable for little ones while still giving us plenty of time to capture a beautiful variety of images.
Parents are always welcome to step in for a few moments, but the focus stays on your child and their unique personality. You don’t need to worry about what to do. I’ll gently guide where needed, while allowing everything to unfold naturally.
1-2 weeks after your session, you’ll receive a carefully edited online gallery where you can view your images and choose your 10 favourite digital photos to download.

How to Book
Get in touch and share a little about what you’d love from your session. If it feels like the right fit, we’ll choose a suitable date and get everything booked in for you.
We’ll meet at your chosen location or in the comfort of your home. The session is easy-going and natural, with gentle guidance from me while I capture genuine moments as they happen. Sessions usually last from 30 minutes, and newborn sessions last 1.5 hours.
After your session, I carefully edit your best images. Editing takes about 1-2 weeks. Then I will upload to a private online gallery for you to view.
You’ll receive your edited online gallery, where you can view the best images from your session. Depending on the collection you choose, you’ll be able to download your included images, with the option to purchase additional digital files or printed products if you’d like to.
Price Guide
I like to keep things simple and clear, while still giving you flexibility. Every session includes guidance, professional retouching, and access to heirloom-quality products.
To secure your session date, a €150 session fee is required. This covers your 30-minute session, planning, and the time and care that goes into creating a personalised experience for your family. For locations more than 50 km from Killarney town, a small travel fee of €1 per km applies.
After your session, I personally curate and refine a private online gallery, selecting only the strongest images that reflect genuine connection, expression, and story. Each image is carefully edited in my signature style and presented with intention.
Your gallery is released once the chosen collection has been secured. The session fee reserves your date and time, and your collection includes the images you decide to keep.
You choose your favourites and download your high-resolution images.

Child Collection €299 includes:
• 15 edited digital images in colour
• Complimentary 15 edited black & white versions
Optional extras
If you’d like extra images, you can easily add additional digital files, prints, albums or framed artwork. Options are available once you’ve viewed your gallery. I believe that when you hire a professional photographer, you deserve to receive professional products to showcase your images.

At what age is best for child photography?
Any age. Every stage has something unique, whether they’re toddlers exploring or older children with big personalities.
What if my child is shy?
That’s completely okay. I take time to build trust and let them settle at their own pace.
What if they don’t sit still?
They don’t need to. Movement is part of the session and often leads to the most natural images.
Can parents be included?
These sessions focus on your child and siblings, but you’re always welcome to step in for a few moments if you’d like.
